Nader Soliman is an Egyptian artist based in Toronto, graduating with a BFA in Experimental Animation at OCAD University. His creative journey is inspired by his rich cultural background, the cinematic wonders of superhero movies and animations that helped shape his childhood. He specializes in 3D Animation and VFX to craft bold, boundary-pushing narratives and visuals. With a passion for innovation, he aims to captivate audiences by blending storytelling with advanced digital techniques, pushing the boundaries of animation.
Nader was awarded the 2024 Student Employee Excellence Award from OCAD University. He was the art director and lead curator for the 2024 international student art exhibition at OCAD "Bridging Homes." His work has been showcased at The Lives Apart Exhibition at OCAD University in 2023, and some of his very early work was showcased at The Cairo Opera House. He worked on projection mappings at the Royal Ontario Museum in collaboration with French software engineer and digital artist Maxime Touroute. Nader had a Sports podcast with OCAD U Live that was filmed at the Toronto International Film Festival Lighthouse in Toronto. He also worked as an intern with Egyptian animator/director Amin Attia on the movie "Coco's Adventure. Nader was a 3D animator volunteer at "Empowered Futures" non-profit company based in Calgary, Alberta.
